Attorney Sumner received both his bachelor’s degree with a major in International Law and his Juris Doctorate from Catholic University, where he was a member of the Law Review. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island State and Federal District Courts, Massachusetts State and Federal District Courts, the United States Supreme Court and the District of Columbia. He has over 30 years of experience in handling civil litigation at both the State and Federal levels. He is currently a member of American Bar Association, the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.
